Mara Sagmiller, Nurse Practitioner

Owner of Venus Rising Med Spa & Wellness Center

Mara, a Nurse Practitioner with decades of experience in healthcare, is an avid advocate for health and wellness. Mara specializes in both aesthetics and lifestyle medicine and has combined her passions into an aesthetics and wellness practice that focuses on making you look and feel your best, inside and out. She approaches each client compassionately, listens to their concerns and goals, and works with them to create an individualized treatment plan. Mara values kindness, honesty, and genuine connection with others. Her values are apparent in all aspects of care at Venus Rising Med Spa & Wellness Center. Mara is married and has two children and two ferrets. She loves books, quilting, and roller skating.

Anne Bias

Patient Coordinator, Esthetician

Meet Anne, a skincare enthusiast turned licensed esthetician. Anne is dedicated to enhancing clients’ natural beauty and wellness. She is training with us while pursuing her Master Esthetician license and is so excited to be embarking on her dream career. Having struggled with rosacea and acne for many years, she is dedicating her career to helping others manage their skin health. She currently lives in Vancouver, WA, with her two cats. Anne enjoys painting, drawing, thrifting, and hanging out with her cats.

Annika Cook

Master Esthetician

Annika is a Master Esthetician who completed her schooling at Portland’s Aesthetic Institute. She is the lead aesthetician at Venus Rising Med Spa. From a young age, she knew she wanted to help people with their skin. After struggling with acne for years, she now has all the skin secrets and is ready to teach each client about their skin health and what will suit them best to reach their goals. With a gentle touch and calming presence, each facial with her is a delight. Annika is also skilled in dermaplaning, microneedling, IPL photofacials, laser hair removal, chemical peels, and extractions. She lives in Vancouver, WA, with her two cats and many houseplants. She enjoys all kinds of animals and artistic endeavors.
